At first read I had thought that perhaps their was a loop-hole in the whole determinism theory, but as I thought about it...really it just is part of it. Also remember I use the words 'need' and 'want' as their true meanings, a want is not neccesarily need, and vice versa.

I'll address the vision first, (oh by the way I'm no authority(sp?) on this) the vision sounds like it was a reaction to your wanting to party. Perhaps your gift was triggered by the need for you to party again. Since you had participated in a party before, this event made you react in a positive way, hence your continuation of raving (how I hate that word). The vision was just a reaction to your want to party.

As for the reincarnation, it sounds like it fits perfectly as well. You are sent to learn, and depending on your reactions to events that have happened to you it determines (yet another reaction) how you will be reincarnated. So really, reincarnation sounds (to me) like that whatever chooses your next 'vessel' is a reaction to how you reacted (or lived) your past life. As for seeing back into your past lives, it just is seeing back in time basically. And depending on you reacted to that event, depends on how you will react to further ones.

...does that make since? I haven't really thought aboutt his in a bit so I'm a bit foggy on it. This is turning out to be a good discussion.

Andrew, no i dont believe in determinism. Ok, so I didnt read it properly. But I get the idea. I believe in reincarnation, and that we're here for lessons each life time to evolve to a higher being etc. Ok, so my idea here is, we remember nothing of our past lives, because it would ruin our lives now. It would completely destroy us if we knew. I mean, i have done past life regression too, but we are allowered to see things that are needed in this lifetime. Ok. So, basically. Also im psychic. And i had a vision once, it was weird. I was going to go to another party. So i suddently was there and shit. I was there for a good 5 minutes I think, and through out the night, everyone got ttrashed, and then the police came. I went to the other one, and someone told me everything i saw. so yeah. well thats my idea.

Man lately I've been getting this feeling to write so I guess I will here since their has been like no action.

So who here believes in free will? Well if you do or you don't you still might want to read up on something called determinism(sp?). Determinism is basically saying we don't have free will (having many options instead of just having one outcome to choose from), we react to reactions that have been created by previous events. Wheither outside or inside of our control, we react to what has been created.

Which I can totally believe, I mean how many of us truly can say we didn't base our options off of something that was created and we just trying to 'deal' with it? Example; I woke up today. I could of done anything today, anything. But I choose to stay inside all day. Why? Wasn't because I enjoy inside more then outside. It was because I had planted the social seeds that were nourished by time and involvment by other people that blossomed into the main reasons why I choose to stay inside. I didn't want to bother with people because of current real life problems/dramas, I didn't want to deal with anything that was related to responbilities (basically a one day vacation...would that make me irresponsible then?), and my head was spinning like crazy, probably because of the Yellow Jackets I took yesterday before partying...which by the way don't ever do!
So, what are your guys/gals thoughts and feelings about this?

My favorite Chili's commercial is with the carpenter guy. You know what I'm talking about I hope, but I guess I can try to type it out.

Happy belated 4th, heh. I did nothing special. We bought firecrackers and sparklers and things, but saved them because (a) my brothers were at camp and (b) a girl from Hamburg, Germany, named Nellie, is coming tomorrow to stay with us for 3 weeks. So we'll be celebrating with her I suppose!

Well, hmm, if anyone wants to be removed you can just ask I guess. Or you can be like the majority of the members and just not post, haha.

Is it just me, or is it harder to find people to have an actual intellectual conversation with in real life? Online...no problem, but outside of that....
