You know.. the only thing I don't like about this blogger setup is that you can't remove yourself from a blog unless you are an administrator. I'd never leave PS anyways so it doesn't bother me much.

Ahh.. yes, this is true.... damn me for being 19. LOL
Then again.. I have productive goals, but am not necessarily productive in trying to achieve them. ;-)

You forget G, productivity and teenager doesn't mix until you graduate from high school, and even then.....

Whoa... I like the new blogger setup. ^_^
Anywho... I used to be "popular".. and then I changed schools. Well, I had much more fun being a strange band/journalism nerd that got along with just about everyone. And no offense to anyone, but people who are all "I'm popular!" and talk about it all the time annoy me. A person's goal in life should not be to achieve popularity. It should be a more.... productive goal.

hehe, popularity....I'm actually glad I never was....well, not as much as I could of been. Anyway, yeah I find popular people not realizing the talent they really have at the school they are at. I met some awesome people being unpopular.
Liam you're from New Zeland? I never knew that. Reall interasting.

I was looking at www.darkness.com and in the poetry section there seems to be alot of poems about killing the populars/perfect people. Its kinda scarey. Its like they dont realise that we are just as low and as insecure as them. We are normal people, and we arent perfect. Popularity is ok, but u are still the same. Hmmm. Makes me think twice about being popular, should I be scared?

I got my formal suit!!! hehe, or to you guys, a "prom" suit! hehe. its cool. Although I dont go to skool anymore, i was invited by an ex. yay for me. Maybe, Formal or PROM fotos maybe!!! They probably have the same view on the body as European's(sp?) do. I'm totally comfortable with being naked infront of people...infact I've done it many of a time...but those are stories for another time. People just need to get over the imperfections of their bodies and realize that it is those imperfections that cause us to fall in love with each other.

Posted by: Carrah
Posted at: 10:03 AM

yeah, you'd think so. but the thing is that these people don't see nudity as a sexual thing- so it's not like these nudists are constantly turned on... *shrug* i don't know- it's kinda crazy... I don't think i'm comfortable with myself enough to be a nudist..

Read Fast Food Nation, little kids at the age of six, have heart attacks, back pains, and other health issues they shouldn't have to begin with. All because of the horrid and corrupted fast food industry, and no thanks to our republican friends in congress that fight any type of improvement. Read the book, you will be disgusted at how evil and ignorant our government is. You thought they way they first treated AIDS was bad, you have seen nothing yet.

heh, i'm not married. i'm only fifteen. i am, however, in a long-term relationship, and he says he wants to marry me someday- actually, he did ask me to marry him on valentine's day... anywho, to answer your question, when i met my boyfriend, it wasn't exactly fireworks- we started out as friends and it gradually progressed to more... it's taken almost three years and a whole lot of work to figure things out, but we're doing okay...

Posted at: 5:15 PM

You know I find the very idea of marriage to be...well....interasting. Most animals do not stay with a single partner, but yet we do. We want to always have that certain someone....I also think that too much is placed on marriage. Everyone now days is worried about finding the one, and they miss out on so much of life. I'm one of those people.

Carrah, I'm guessing your married. So when you met your partner, was it fireworks and all, or was it something that progessed over time?

whoa... i blink.. and stuff happens here. neato.

marriage is.. umm.. what carrah said. she always has a way with words.

Posted by: Carrah
Posted at: 10:02 AM

I see marriage as a union of two people in mind, body, spirit, and soul- for life. This could be any two people- man and woman, man and man, woman and woman. It also means that they forego any sexual relations with any other besides their significant other. They [at least I'd hope they do] trust each other with anything and everything, have good communication, and are the best of friends. Above all, though, they love each other.

I'm not exactly sure what I base it off of, a lot of it is just how I want my marriage to be whenever I do get hitched. However, on the note of homosexuality- I honestly don't care whether or not a couple is homosexual- that is all how they feel, and there's no way I can tell anyone that what/how they feel is wrong. So as long as a homosexual isn't shoving their lifestyle down my throat and trying to make me a homosexual, I have no problem with anything. And back to my definition of marriage, a lot of my definition has to do with what would also make a marriage work- because I've seen too many marriages fall through and relationships torn apart because the two didn't trust each other, didn't communicate well, or they just didn't love each other in that way anymore- like the sparks were gone or something...

marriage = something i am currently not involved in. this is based off of my life.

But more importantly..

I'M HARRY POTTER!!

I did not particpate in that event. Just for the fact, that well it wouldn't do much good in my school. Or work, and would rather hurt me in the process then help the gay and lesbian community. I work at a place where I teach kids, so for me to hand their parents cards saying such would not help me. Some would say, and have, that I am just not proud of being gay and such like that. But I beg to differ, just because I'm gay, doesn't mean I have to shout it at the rooftops. Although I do think since we are a minority and the whole concept of homosexuality is completely wrong in so many hetersexual minds, that we do need to celebrate our uniqueness, and help clear the wrong idea about homosexuality.
I remember in my Sociology class, my Sophmore year of high school, one kid just didn't understand why we are having parades, and events like the day of silence and gay pride month...I wasn't out at the time, but I was the only person in the class that was fighting for homosexual rights, but I said something along the lines of, the blacks had their time, when they were held down, now it is the homosexuals, bisexuals, transgender, and transexuals that are being held down. We need our voice to be heard....after all were American, and it would be un-American, and un-Patriotical of us not to do such.

Posted at: 10:48 AM

Yikes I've been gone for ages... apologies!

Marriage is an intimate union between two persons. That means same-sex as well. This kid in my class was talking about going to a gay parade and fair. He was overly enthused about it. I mean that because he isn't actually gay. He says he is. His name is Joe, and is gay because he needs to find a personality. Anyone who knows him can tell you, if you take away him "being gay" he's completely blank. Heh, anyway. Andrew, did you participate in that day when gays and lesbians were silent all day (for the gays killed out of hatred or something)? A few people I know of did it, I think it was a good idea.

Hey gyus I feel like starting a really good conversation....so here I go....

What is your definition of marriage? What do you base this definition off of? Why do you base it off what you based it upon(confusing I know)?

You can probably see where this is going, but hey it is Pride Month, and I feel like talking about being gay for once.

"Bottom line is, even if you see them coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change. Not really. But it does. So what are we? Helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are.... You'll see what I mean." - Whistler/Buffy the Vampire Slayer

"Crazy isn't being broken or swallowing a dark secret. It's you or me amplified. If you ever told a lie and enjoyed it, if you ever wished you could be a child forever. They were not perfect, but they were my friends. And by the 70's most of them were out, living lives. Some I've seen, some never again, but there isn't been a day my heart doesn't find them." - Susanna Kaysan/Girl Interrupted

What are some of your favorite quotes? Mine: "I ain't no bitch, I ain't no fool!"-Steve Sobasli [hopefully I spelled his name right] and "Punk out w/ your junk out" or "Rock out w/ your cock out."-A lot of people, but I first heard it from Justin.

..Those are by no means serious at all..
