I've posted this everywhere.. but one more time won't hurt.

I just got back from seeing Branford Marsalis, Joey Calderazzo, and Jeff 'Tain' Watts. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! HAHA! I was right up front (as usual). It was the best! The guys screwed around onstage like usual. Joey dropped his music in the middle of a solo and made a fuss. We all laughed. Branford messed up the bridge to a song, stopped everyone, and made them start over. We all laughed again. I love those silly jazzers that goof off even during a performance. They played a lot of songs from Jeff's album Bar Talk. The best was the encore. They played J.C. Is The Man, which has some vocals at the beginning.. and on the kicks. So, the entire audience was standing (mind you this is a large outdoor jazz festival so it's a BIG audience)... and the band starts singing. Well, everyone that know the song starts singing too. Eventually everyone else caught on. It was great.. he played the head a bunch of times, and even a bit in his solo so we could sing along. They had a blast, we had a blast. It wasn't orgasmically wonderful like Brecker... but that's okay.. it was the most fun I've ever had at an event like that (besides actually performing in it.. that was fun too).

At first when I read that, I missed the part about the bike, and I thought you had written that you went riding Bill Dickey. Intersting name of his, too ;-)

Motorcycles are cool. Just wear a helmet. My uncle and his sone (my cousin) got in an accident a while back. It was because of the car, and they're both okay now I think.

Bill Dickey (family friend) showed up on his Harley today.
He's been riding his bike all around the U.S. again.
It made for a great Easter. I went riding, and oh boy it just fired up my desire of getting a motorcycle even more. There's nothing better than riding down the highway with nothing between you and the concrete with the wind blowing in your face. I felt safer on that than I do when I drive a car. Maybe because there's more of a personal connection between driver and vehicle.

I was invited to Prom my junior year... but I had a gig that night.
Then last year, I just really didn't want to go.. so I didn't.. I made the right decision, cuz EVERYONE hated it.

My package still hasn't arrived yet.
So sorry that it was rude and didn't stop over, Laura. I'll have to give it a stern lecture on manners when it gets here.

1) that tsk sound. my mom used to do it all the time when i was bad. now she does it constantly so i think i did something wrong. and it pisses me off.
