Anywho, I like my sandals.. but also my blue shoelaces that I put on my black skecher boots.

I don't care for shoelaces really. I'm a flip-flop kinda guy. Comes with the lifeguarding job and teaching kids to swim thing. Always wet.

Adam didn't tick me off.

Umm.. adam's string of really stupid things...that ticked everyone off.
I think we need a new topic of conversation.
How about....... shoelaces.

[note to Georgeanne] Why on earth would I kick Andy out? Because he never posts here? I don't mind that, Adam was just being downright rude to me personally, calling me names which he had no reason to. I asked him why he called me a fucking tart, and he said because he wanted to get one last insult in before I signed off. That's rude, and I do not want someone being mean to be a member of a site that I created and maintain. [/note to Georgeanne]

I really don't understand what Andy's problem was with that doctor. He obviouvly didn't make any sort of pass at you, and was just giving you an eye examination. Biologically and anatomically wrong? Well, homosexuality is from a part of the brain. Your brain tells you that you're attracted to girls--even if you don't realize it's coming from your brain. In homosexuals, the brain is simply telling them that they are attracted to the same sex. There's nothing wrong with that.

I admit, I am uncomfortable when two members of the same sex kiss or something like that, but otherwise it's fine by me. It's not like it's any of my buisiness anyway, and pouting and stomping your feet is not going to change someone's sexuality.

I think that if your have a problem against homosexual people, you're racist. It's the same way, you're discriminating against a group of people that are content just being themselves, and that most people get along with. If you can't, then I think you have some problems to sort out.

And that's my two cents.

LoL, just something about British remixed pop makes me want to dance like I've never danced before lol.
I think Buffy started to get bad when Angel left. Now it just plan sucks. I love how Willow went on the magic fiasco though. But the show is just getting dumber and dumber now, plus I hardly ever remember to watch it at 5 on Saturdays. I'm usually doing something else by then. Angel on ther other hand I think is the shit. Just something about the show that is differ then Buffy makes me want to watch it. Even though I think the Buffy team could kick the Angel team, just because of Willow and Buffy, if Willow still uses magic.

Yeah, Texas isn't one of the greatest places to be. Which really needs to change. But o well. I'm dancing to some techno remix's here, cause well I don't have a life lol.

Why would it make you uncomfortable Andy? And why would you care? Are you going to your doctors house and see who he his boy or girl looks like? (it was an accident, our insurance changed and we didn't know he was gay) That comment scares me. I wonder if the kids parents that I teach swim lessons too think the same thing? Personally I grow tired of this conversation, but hey if it clears shit up then so be it.

To me, sexuality isn't defined a word. People make it out to be. Sexuality is very complex, just as the word 'love' is. I can still fall in love with a girl, but I haven't and I probably will not. That is on the sexual I want to marry you level. But I do love my girl friends, and my Mom, and grandma. I find the male body to be a whole hella lot better then the female. Other animals have homosexual sex all the time. But with the homosexual human it is a bit more complex. Being gay is just like being straight. You look at the body, first thing that attracts you. Then you get to know their mind. And then the whole ten-yards. The only thing that makes me differnet from the rest of you is that I just happen to find members of my sex too be more attractive and that I do fall in love with him. On the terms of it being biologically and anatomically wrong, what is right and wrong? Who determines it? What harm does homosexual sex do to the body? Does the smell of his sweat make my brain blow up? Does his eyes that tend ot suck me in raelly make my knees melt? We humans created right and wrong based on society's experience, not ours. Or if we do a very limited one. Have you guys and girls never looked at someone of the same sex and say he or she looks cute? Or handsome, or whatever your word is? And if you do, then doesn't that make you gay? No, it doesn't. Which means it is 'normal' to be able to tell if somone of the same sex is cute or not. I take a step further in that. I grow feelings for them, I have sex with them. biologically, the prostate gland gives off a hella awsome feeling. It makes anybody, straight or gay, who does it feel like their going to explode.

My only advice to those of you who have very limited experience with people that are 'gay' is don't treat 'us' differently. Just because we have a job like being a doctor, doesn't mean where going to check you out, get horny, ask you out, whatever. He's a doctor, your a kid. He went to school to do what he loves to do. What difference does it make if he is gay or not. What business is it of yours? He's your eye doctor, what is he going to do, lick your eye sexually. heh.

Posted by: Andy Edwards
Posted at: 7:47 PM

Hey guys, I'm back to blogger. I really need to keep with this, don't I?

Hmmm. Conflict, conflict. Well, about the homosexuality (I prefer to call it inverted sexuality) issue...I don't hate gay people, but I do think homosexuality is biologically and anatomically wrong. I don't have much experience being around gay people except when I had an eye examination by a gay doctor (it was an accident, our insurance changed and we didn't know he was gay) and it made me REALLY uncomfortable being in a dark room with him. There's my two cents...

Used to watch Buffy.. I just always forget about it now.. heh. Too much stuff going on.
Seems there was a lot of miscommunication with the whole 'redneck' thing.. wowzers.
Here's my last 2 cents on the issue, then I'm through with it. If you do not know what a word means... find out what it means before you use it in the wrong context and really tick off someone. Definately a culture clash there. Adam made an innocent error, but then dug himself into a deeper hole. That was the problem. Hey, I've screwed up like that before.. but I just let myself get laughed at and called a silly american. It's all good as long as we can laugh at each other without getting too upset. That's why I explained what a redneck was... because I figured either there was another definition of the word, or he didn't quite know how to use it. Oh, and I can see where the pink lettering could throw you off if you don't have a clue. That is all. *steps down off soap box*

Goodbye Adam :)

Anybody check out the team page?
I told Adam that he was rude, then he argued with me for 20 min. atleast about how I was wrong. I then was going to get offline and he called me a "fucking tart". So I kicked him out.

I have nothing against anyone's sexual preferences, you naive little girl.

I said "Rednecks!!" because it reminded me of the baseball cap that my auntie bought for me when she went over to the states which says "100% Redneck" in pink writing on it.

Georganne said 'redneck' in the post below mine, she she get her arse spanked for that?

I'm English, and only now do I know the actual fucking meaning of the word. I have nothing against gay, bi or straight people. So leave it.

Laura, I didn't called all homosexuals, rednecks. What the fuck does 'redneck' mean?! I'm confused now.

I didn't call Andrew a redneck, us English people don't even use the word, at all!

Andrew, I'm not trying to impress anybody. I just said the word "Redneck!", you don't have to kill me for it. Perhaps you might, but bugger me, I didn't know. And I'm still not sure.

Laura says:
well it's also a rude expression in England as well as the states

Uhh, no it isn't. No one uses it in England, and speaking to my friends on MSN, they don't know what it means either.

I used to be a fan of Buffy. Only the early episodes. FX plays the older ones every weeknight at 7:00, and a while ago it was double episodes from 6:00-8:00. I was addicted, and I watched every night. Then I (literally) experienced withdrawal and now I don't watch anymore. I do occasionally, but it's at the depressed Buffy stage, so it's sort of stupid. Yeah.

And I hate the show Angel, he was better on Buffy. But I don't watch it, so I wouldn't know :)

LMAO! "Drama Queen"... ha ha! My guy friend who is homo was voted "most dramatic" for our senior class favorites!

Apparently the British definition of 'redneck' is different from the American one.
So, Adam.. this, is what you called Andrew: gun toting, ford pick-up driving, coon hunting, beer guzzling, trailor trash. Ever heard of the comedian Jeff Foxworthy? Check out his act.. he makes fun of rednecks.

Seriously though, what Adam said was way uncalled for, and I must admit that his attitude is getting on my nerves. I have nothing against homosexuality, and when someone does I would please ask them to keep it to themself.
So don't do it again, Adam. And nobody else should do it again either.

Thankyouverymuch.

I live in Missouri, and in the middle of no where, of course it isn't no Texas, but we do have our share of problems. I should know, I have had a few, but yes. College is the place I guess. Enjoy your time with them, just don't get into their drama queen shit.

I had a slight culture shock this week at freshman orientation. Boy, I sure hope no one takes this wrong.. so I'll choose my words carefully. First off, I have absolutely no problem with homosexual people [2 of my friends are]. Second at my H.S. [with a meer 900 something students] there were 7 people that were openly gay. So, I go off to college orientation....... 1st day I meet like 20 people who are, and the number just increases as the week goes along. I wasn't offended or freaked out or anything like that... it amazed me. I thought, wow... I've certainly lived a sheltered life. I can't imagine being homosexual and living here in Texas... all those gun wielding rednecks and TX being in the 'bible belt' and all... there are some crazy crazy people here. Everyone I met at orientation was so comfortable with themselves, and that's cool. [plus they didn't try to hit on me.. that is the only thing that remotely weirds me out.] So, kudos to all you cool people for forcing the rest of the world to stop freaking out just because you are different. :-)

And I want to do something artistic with them, something that will allow me to continue adding on to it as I get more CD's, and I don't want to ruin them, cut them up or anything. So does anyone have any ideas?

Well I haven't posted because there was nothing to post about. First, all the guys were talking about some game which I've only heard of once or twice, then you were talking about a movie which I haven't (and not interested in) seen(ing it). Then we were talking about pretty boys, and then you were posting to Georgeanne which you could have easily done *ahem* in an email.

I'm really busy as well, and really stressed out. So if I seem like a bitch or something, you're probably right and I'm sorry.

I get to meet Catherine Brunelle (again) today and someone else from Broadway. Yay!! For those of you who don't know, Catherine Brunelle was Epeny (spelling?) in Les Miserables. She's awesome, I can't wait to hang out with her again.

Anyway, that's the only thing new with me. My dad's side of the family are all coming over this weekend (his parents, his brothers; John, Rob, and Tom; and then their spouses, and Rob's 3 kids). All of them. Since Tom's wife can't make it, it makes 15 people staying in our house including my family. Yikes. But I can't wait to see my cousins, because they move around a lot (from Vermont to Spain for three years to Jordan for three years and now to Switzerland) so I only get to see them every three years, maybe, and more if there are any deaths, weddings, births, etc.
Yeah, I'll shut up now.

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter

Haha why Andrew, are you a pretty boy? Cuz you're yum :) haha. Yeah, those sappy teenage romances are a killer. Shane West reminds me of the lead singer of Default, kinda looks like him a tad. Though I think Shane's teeth are better..haha.

hehe, you have a thing against pretty boys? I enjoyed the movie, as you can see on my blog. I'm a fool for romance movies that have something go wrong with them. Plus I just think Mandy Moore is just incredible, she ranks up their with Britney in likes. Shane West is hella cute...sometimes. He kinda reminds me of Ewan McGreggor(sp?) from Moulin Rouge.

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 10:43 AM

Well, I can't say that I balled through it, because I didn't, but I did enjoy the whole Shane West bit. He's actually in a punk rock band called "Jonny Was", very neat, and he doesn't dress like a pretty boy then either.

Posted by: Phil
Posted at: 4:40 PM

Personally I do not think highly of warcraft 3 although I am a loyal fan of blizzard. Graphic isn't that great but considering all of warcraft(s) and other games by blizzard has been 2D, warcraft 3 is a little better on its 3D. storyline and game play is just like any other RST by blizzard. Nothing fancy. Personally I would wait until the price drops since it is expensive. Any other details go to blizzard's site.

Anyway. I've been watching discovery channel a lot lately about spies. They are not cool as I thought to be. No sexy girls or money. I wonder why they risk. Has anyone seen interesting show or movie? There aren't much of things to watch lately. Mr. Deeds?

Laura dear, I did not warn you, and never have (unless I was in a very drunken state, again).

Is it actually any good Phil? I've got Starcraft, which is good, but nothing else in that series (such as Warcraft).

Think I might play a little more Halo now...maybe.

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 4:58 PM

Sorry I haven't updated your personal bios, I have very limited computer time. For example, tonight I have to memorize my entire script before 6:00 tonight because my mom made this youth group get-together. Basically, my church's priest is coming to my house to give a mass!! How whacked is that? Then we get a pool party. Whee-ha. *rolls eyes*
Matt's coming over, and whever he come she seems to be really bored. I'm hoping I don't have to get in the pool (my mom said I really have to, an dI sort of argued a lot with her, so if other people stay out then I can as well), beacuse a. I don't feel like swimming and b. I don't want anybody to see my fatness in my swimsuit. Yuk.
Good luck to Laura Baum (not me). If you don't know why, check out my blog or something, I must go now.

table too wide. bad. table need to be even with camel. then good.

Shit, Laura? *tries to look smart* Take the circumference of the camel and enclose it in a marquee then add a paragraph...... kidding.
I don't have a freaking clue. umm.. *sigh* lemme take 3 minutes and give the code a blank stare..

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 7:05 AM

Shit, Georgeanne? *Tries to look cute* I think there's another problem.. um.. yeah. Any insight would be good. You see, if you view the page (go on and look at it) if you scroll all the way over to the right, it is not even the camel box (lol, not the ciggs). The reason why it's moved over is because down at the bottom (go and scroll down) my copywright statement is in the post table, not underneath both of the tables. If you have no clue what I'm talking about you can look at a bio page or something up top.

I think it's probably something easy to fix.. right? Ahhh!

Hahaha, I know I'm an idoit, but I designed that thing for a few days straight, working out the javascript and such, and I couldn't thing right.
Thank you! I now have to fix Andrew's blog (hehe, sorry) URL. If you want your bios, you can send them to me @ laurapink@msn.com
If you need to know what they look like, I made a sample one (which I'm planning on changing) under my name on the left.
Oh, and they can be as long as you want. Don't write a novel, I can't say that anybody will take the time to read it. Please don't discriminate against anybody, or any group, as I will not put that in your bio. Because that's mean. Alright, go ahead and write about yourself.

It is probably something really simple and annoying. Just like last time with BOTH of our blog layouts. :-)

The gap is not supposed to be there. When I first got the page up, only one post was in the box where it was supposed to be. Then I inserted line breaks (i.e. < p > and < /p >) and then another one moved up.
It's kind of odd. I think that it might be easier if I just make Georgeanne an admin. than send her the code. Haha, I don't think it's capitalization this time. Hahaha

We're going to give Laura a brain aneurism or something.. I don't think she does well with this heated debate thing.

Alright, I'm right now working on this site. I don't know if you've noticed, but when you view the main page the entire layout is screwed up (scroll to the bottom and you will see what's usually on the side). How did this happen? Well, Adam's little HTML war messed it up. I swear, I'm getting totally pissed off at you, because you also warned me thre times yesterday when I was away from my computer--FOR NO REASON.

So don't mess up the page again, anybody, or I'll have to delete that post. I've never messed with anybody's posts, and and hoping I'll never have to. So stop.

Um, want to talk about something else? Like religion hehe.

Also, really, Humans were not the first to 'discover' America. Cause Dinosaurs did. hehe. Plus you can't discover something that is their all along. If you think about it deeply in your mind.

Enough.. please...?

Well, I am up to my elbows (atleast) in work to do on the internet. I am online almost all the time, and I can barely get any work done because my dad always decides he needs the computer, and takes it from me. So basically, I might be online a messenger, and then he shuts his eyes so I can reply, and then he goes back to working on the computer. It's annoying, because he only ever works on the one that I am on at the time being. Ugh.
Anyway, so that is my excuse for the lack of updates on the bio page, etc etc. And I am working on your problem, Andrew, sorry I'm taking so long about this.

Anyway, I actually posted in my new blog because I needed a break from work. Whee.

Laura, that's what I meant. He wanted to prove his theory that the Earth was/is round. That's the one.

A wise man once said "We need to look at what's on our plates right now--who cares about what we have already eaten, it just causes indigestion." As stupid as that analogy sounds, it's true. The fued's over w/..different skools learn different things...only those below us will truly know what happened..though, I believe Laura is correct.

You are such an ass, dear, he didn't want to drop off the end of the earth. He thought the earth was round...

I probably started it, I'm odd.

Anyway, Chris Columbus didn't actually intend to go to Indie, actually. He decided to see what it was like and if you could actually drop off the end of the Earth, yet when he came across the US, he thought he had landed in India seeing as the native people were coloured.

And no:

The argument must rage on!

Well said, Laura. Happy fourth everyone.

Everyone recognizes that many people were in America long before Columbus. The Asiatic peoples who became Native Americans were certainly the first, tens of thousands of years ago. Also Norse expeditions to North America, starting with Bjarni Herjolfsson (what a name, hehe) in 986 (I think), are well established historically. Many other pre-Columbian discoveries are not well established: claims have been made for St. Brendan, Basque fishermen, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and even Carthaginians. Some of these claims may be true; most are probably not.

In spite of this, Columbus's discovery (or re-discovery, if you prefer) is rightly regarded as the most historically important, and will continue to be. That is because, unlike the others, Columbus inaugurated permanent large-scale two-way commerce between the Old World and the New. Previous discoveries were so little known that even the best educated Europeans were unaware of the existence of America prior to Columbus. He, unlike any of his predecessors, changed the world.

Can we please stop arguing about this? I don't even know who started this in the first place, but whoever did is truely quite odd.

If you really think about that Columbus story.. it's actually quite funny. Especially because we have gained so much geographical knowledge of the world. Heh. He was supposed to go to a far off spice market [india].. you'd think the place would be a bit busy, there would be ports, and people coming to and fro. So he lands in the 'new world' and there is like.. nothing. Wouldn't it make you think that you took a wrong turn?

*** disclaimer.. i have only gotten 4 hours of sleep since Sunday. please pardon my insanity.***

Spanish.. plum?

I know the native's were there, but it was originally Columbus or whoever that came across it, and wanted to really settle the land.

You're not thinking of that Spanish plum are you Laura?

Wow, I haven't been here in a long while. Actually, Christopher did not discover America, I forget who (from Europe or somewhere near there) actually did.
Don't forget about the American Indians

Oh I can see an argument coming now..yes, it is true, the English did develop the english language or whatever, and overtime we developed different words in it that they don't use, everyone says things a little different, I mean, people from pittsburgh say some things different than people do where I live and we're in the same state. And it's true, the vikings did find america (that Red guy) or at least told stories of it..even if Amerigo Vespucci is credited for also founding it, because of how he described it. But in the long run, that doesn't all matter, because now there are some of the English living here, and some of the Americans living in England, and all over the world for that matter, and vice versa. Being born an American, but being well over half European (mostly english), I really have no side in this argument. The little quarter left in me is Japanese..but I won't even go there..haha..color is ƒJƒ‰?[?A?F in japanese on the computer..hahaha.

Um, Chris didn't find America. The Vikings did actually, or rather the 'natives'. And with the melting pot we have had, that is what made our english differ from that english. finite

Canadian spelling?! What the hell are you on dear? It's the European spelling.

The European spelling is indeed correct, Miss G, as it was us Europeans (more specifically England) who created the language, and when out little men went out (Chris Columbus) and found us America, he continued to use English, and you just warped the language. Fools.

Stupid Europeans? You wouldn't be where you are without us.

Here's an idea, how about we just don't make fun of any countries or continents or languages? No fun? Ah well, it was an idea. [Note: Skip likes both Europe and Canada, nothing against either of them;remembers the kickass hockey players in Canada ] Pittsburgh G? I envy you for that.
