them horribly. Icarus Line is kinda rad.

TRAVIS isn't a person! It's the name of the band. From the UK.

They're ok, nothing speciaall..

I'm seeing Rival Schools and the Icarus Line on the 11th of Junnee....lovely.

Oh, G, I wanted to tell you..I saw Micheal Brecker's brother last night at Mayfair(music festival around here)..although I don't listen to that type of music, it was spiffy. Aaaaaaah, did I say that? I HATE the word spiffy. Ah well. Saw some kid w/ yellow hair listening too..ha. Gotta run..later.

Oh my god I am never talking to you again..
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 7:38 AM

Went to a Greenday,Blink,Saves the Day concert last night--Wow. We got frisked(we had cameras, they weren't allowed) and well, one of us wasn't so lucky, he got frisked and the guy felt his croutch, where he hid my camera. Everyone else did the same, but only this kid got caught. So we went in an everything, got some merchandise, Travis personally(w/ help) was handing out famoussas stickers at his stand(we got a whole armful) and the guy at the Atticus stand gave me a used camera, but it still had a lot of film in it. Once again, w/out the pushing this time, we made it all the way up against the stage, being the closest to the boys. Greenday's lead singer threw a bra into the crowd that he was wearing over his shirt as a joke, and I got hit in the face w/ it. Then, we didn't get wet at all, and he noticed that, so he chucked his water bottle at us, ha. Ooh. Blink was actually pretty good too, Mark tried to throw a rose towards us, and it just hit like us and 1 other guy in the face, ha, it hurt. Everyone was good, we made some friends too, and some enemies. But that is for later days to come. Ha. Got home around 1-am, blah.

UP to my armpits..UP.
Well, you mix it by hand.. in this large bucket. and then when you're using it.. the stuff kinda drips off your hands an up your arms because the project is so tall [and on a table].
We finished the mache part today. Yay! I'm going to be in San Marcos for the rest of the weekend.

Tonsils themselves don't puss, they just sometimes get these little infections on them that go away when drained. Well, here's the short list of things to mention for the day:

-Laura was missed again at lunch, "Catalina" and I were lonely in Spanish.
-There was a major spanish test today, we will be finishing it up Tuesday.
-The picnic is tomorrow, so that means we get our yearbooks.
-Jim Hurley became single on this day.
-The box car racer cd came out yesterday, it's actually not that bad.
-the flames kid's name is "ryan" and he enjoys compliments on his ernie ball shirt.
-Clint Reinhart must be stoned, for he was saying hi to freshman today.

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 2:22 PM

Since when do tonsils puss? Hm, thanks for notifying me earlier.

Tuesday, May 21

Posted by: Georgeanne Travis
Posted at: 8:17 PM

Heh.. sucking puss. Nasty icky slimy smelly tonsil puss.
Sorry.. I had to say that.. for it sounded so nasty. There, that fulfills my nastiness requirement for the week.

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 3:16 PM

Hmmmm..well, here's my short list of things to mention.
-You were asked about today(laura) by me, mary, steph, marie, and sarah sumoski.
-Get well Laura!!!
-The little hardcore band I participated in(not to mention I played w/ them once, ha, yesterday)split up :(
-Jules offered to share his pop-tart w/ me today, and he never talks
-Brendan wore a green shirt(not black, yah)
-Rickito broke up w/ his girlfriend for she was "mean to him and all his friends and that's not good!"(yah)
-I will remain w/ my lovely tonsils, and possibly just be infectionless(i had some little infection on the back, but the medicine sucked the puss out and it went away, yah)
...So all in all, it was a happy medium, some bad things happened, and some good things happened.

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 10:12 AM

Heh thanks. I am also trying to see Spiderman. I always want to see so many movies, and I only end up going with Nick, and he enevr calls anymore. So I'm thinking of buying some tickets online and then going with someone else. Maybe,
If you haven't guessed by the time that I'm posting, I'm home sick with that terrible cold. Sorry for all the people who will miss me in school (yeah.. right).

Star Wars was great.. promise I won't ruin it for ya!

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 6:58 PM

That's rad how you said "you get the picture" since we're talking about cameras and stuff instead of "you get the point." I hear the new Star Wars Movie is good too. There's nothing really wrong w/ disposable cameras as much as I complain, I mean they take really nice photos if you get them developed at the right place. Yeah, my mom's got an old Canon as well..occasionally I'll use that, a kid at my skool has a really nice camera so I'm thinking of asking him where he got his, the pictures he takes always turn out really well so, gotta find the secret behind that.

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 5:51 AM

Photography is awesome. I'll probably take a photography course in the future.. I mean, I guess I'm OK at taking pictures, I've gotten some pretty awesome back in the day. Oh my gosh, did I just say "back in the day"?!
Ahh, I'm turning to the dark side!!
Speaking of which, I am pumped that the new Star Wars movie is out--can't wait to see it. Anybody see it yet? I've heard it's really good.

Sunday, May 19

Posted at: 7:34 PM

Oh, you just use disposables? That must suck...see, my mom has an old but good Canon A-1, which is even more useful than modern pocket cameras...it has tons of controls, regular, zoom, and wide angle lenses, more things to control like exposure and arpeture...you get the picture.

Posted by: Georgeanne Travis

Sunset pictures are coolness. Sunset pictures from an airplane are the best.. *grin*

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 9:39 AM

Advice of the day: Stay away from "teen movies"..

It's not really advice, because I like those sappy "american pie wannabe" type movies, but last night I rented "Not Another Teen Movie," or whatever it's called w/ "Janie's gotta gun..aaah Janie's gotta gun," and that was pretty much the only somewhat comical part in the movie. If you didn't like Scary Movie all that much, well, then this isn't the movie for you, unless maybe you think your sister/brother's hot and you're into the whole "coming out of the closet" thing.

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 9:33 AM

Yeah, I enjoy photography. Can't say I have a favorite film considering I don't own a camera and just use disposables, but you know, those things take really nice pictures, it just depends on what company you use for developement. Sunset pictures are great, if you're really into that, e-mail me sometime and I'll scan in a few sunsets from North Carolina for you. Well, I guess I ought to finish up some homework, gotta go to guitar practice in a couple hours.

F-stops.. and shutter speeds are most important. you can use 400 speed film anywhere. My favorite film is the Kodak portrait stuff.. [cant remember exactly what it is] and Fuji Supera.

Hey guys, sorry I'm so off and on...school's almost out! Yay!
Hmmm...my summer...use computer, compose music, work on a group website with friends, work on an amateur movie with friends, get together with friends, skateboard, mow the lawn, mow the lawn some more, edge the lawn, etc., practice piano, hopefully Six Flags...probably no family vacation or anything this year, though, because we don't have as much money as we used to due to my dad changing jobs last year (I think it was last year...)
You're into photography, skip? I'm kinda getting into it...I like taking pictures of sunsets, stuff like that, and I'd do lots of stuff in dimly lit rooms, well, I mean I will once I get film suited for it. Haha, I've already figured out some of the stuff on my mom's camera better than she has, and she's had it for years. I'm a fast learner.

My summer... gigs, teach little kids to play sax like me, gigs, learn 2 drive, hang out with my band director.. lol [i'm such a nerd], go bowling, go to 6 Flags... umm wait.. that's part of my gig.. nevermind, eat, sleep, be jazzy.

*Band Nerd Moment*

Posted by: Georgeanne Travis
Posted at: 11:54 PM

So.. I just got home from the band banquet. It was great.
First things first... the Awards:
I got Outstanding Contribution to Jazz Band and the Falcon Pride Award. The Falcon Pride thing is the award that our band director gives out. The rest of the awards are voted on by us students.
I didn't think I was gonna get it. I was touched. Mr. Mac didn't say too much.. he didn't want to cry. I could tell... cuz I was getting a bit emotional too. How cool. *hug*
So, Mac LOVED the senior gift. It was so cool. I got him a very expensive gigantic poster from the New Orleans Jazz Festival.
Band video was GREAT! At one part there's this slide that says "And now, a word from our sponsors..." and it cuts to a scene with Matt [drum major] drinking a soda.. and he says "ahhhh. Dr. Pepper. the choice of drum majors everywhere." EVERYONE cracked up. It was so funny. There were more funny things.. but most were inside jokes. Sleeeeeeeeeeeeep. Neeeeeeeed Sleeeeeeeeep. *snore*

Oi, I am a dumbass..I got confused cuz you didn't say a lot in the thing, and then you started talking about the pisspot thing and I got confused..oi. Well anywho, thanks for the luck, we actually played pretty rad.

Skip, you dumbass I was talking to Adam (joking.. you're not a dumbass)
Good luck for Orchestra!!

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 5:07 PM

Jord actually called me a pisspot, didn't know you called me one too, haha. I said to hold on? Huh? Didn't know..haha. It's cuz I was getting kicked offline or something today, and my mom needed the phone. Yep. Even though I don't like orange juice, I like the Ad. Off to get ready for the Orchestra Concert, yippie skippy, I'm just a rhyming fool.

Yep, they're born from eggs, exactly what I was thinking.

FLY AWAY! FLY AWAY!

Posted by: Georgeanne Travis

I've never seen a baby pigeon.. or pigeon eggs.. or a pigeon being born.
I've just heard the cute little chirping of little pigeons.. high above us in their nests.

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 10:17 AM

Skip.. Pigeons are birds so they lay eggs and hatch from them.
Talk about stating the obvious..

Saturday, May 11

pigeons.. no never seen em.. *sarcastic grin*
We get our yearbooks @ the start of the next school year, so the graduation stuff can be put in em. Seniors get theirs mailed to them.. if they so choose to do so.

Posted by: Andy Edwards

You've seen pigeons right? But have you ever seen one being born or a tiny little baby pigeon? Probably not.

Wednesday, May 8

Posted by: Georgeanne Travis
Posted at: 9:25 AM

Well.. here's my take. My journal doesn't have a banner. and I got it for free. just before the banner thing. Even if you have a free account, you can make layouts and stuff. Most of the 'cheap gawky' icons are borrowed [with permission] FROM LiveJournal. The reason why it takes so long to load is that A) people are switching from LJ so the servers are fuller B) I have a background picture on mine.. which does take time to load. Sometimes it doesn't even load.. but that's okay.. cuz at least I can make my DJ very original.
Also, most of my friends have switched from LJ to DJ along with me.
Ack! I gotta get ready for school!

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 5:47 AM

There's banners at the top, takes forever to load, and the whole purpose of dead journal was to be a like-livejournal site. If you see, the entire thing is almost exactly like livejournal, except they use cheap, gawky icons that hurt your eyes.
I say, stick with the original.

Happy Birthday to me.

Tuesday, May 7

Posted by: Georgeanne Travis
Posted at: 5:49 PM

? why does deadjournal look shite? [just wondering.. i won't be offended.. i promise]

Posted by: Adam Halliwell
Posted at: 3:38 PM

I'll search for some unhappless soul to give me a code...DeadJournal looks shite...

Posted by: Laura
Posted at: 5:47 AM

Sorry that I've been sort of absent from the blog for a while, a lot of crap is going on in my life right now and I don't have time to do everything that I want to.
I would vote for livejournal myself, because deadjournal takes forever to load, and there's an ad at the top.
So if you want to find a user that can give you a code, go to www.livejournal.com. Oh, and opt for the paid users, they get a code for every month of paid usage. So they'll probably have some codes to spare.

Word of advice..download "See You Tonight" by The Eyeliners..they're my second favorit girl rock band(1st being DHC) and this song's lyrics are beautiful. There, that's my post until Thursday night when I plan to post again.

Sunday, May 5

hey Adam.. if you want a DeadJournal.. they're FREE you don't need a code thingy.. and you can edit more stuff with it.
just go to www.deadjournal.com
The only reason I have a LiveJournal is there are some saxophone communities I wanted to join.

Whoa.. what a great festival.
I saw Bob Mintzer, Terence Blanchard, Donald Harrison, & Joe Lovano Nonet.
I saw Bob Mintzer and his band, and the Joe Lovano Nonet at the Sheraton Hotel, too.
It was soooo awesome. We walked down Bourbon St. at 11:40pm. on Friday. THAT was interesting. That place reeks of boose and vomit. There were a few strip clubs, and a FEMALE IMPERSONATOR BAR!!! Some guy thought I was a hooker.. [don't know why.. I was wearing khakis, a hawaiian shirt, and sandals].. we ran into a bunch of hookers.. and then one of our people almost got his wallet stolen. Quite a foul place. Oh well.. I'm glad to be back home, out of the insanity of New Orleans.

Posted by: Skippy Peanutbutter
Posted at: 11:47 AM

yeah, I guess the time difference would be a bugger. And hey..I can recall you not posting for a long time either, kiddo. Sorry for the lack of posts though, yesterday I spent 10 minutes w/ 3 friends from fat tony since their show got cancelled last minute, then I went alone to the mall(well, w/ a parent), got Karen(L) another present to add, went to walmart real quick afterwards to get a new hairdryer, came home, made plans w/ my friend Jay(who talks and often looks exactly like trent from the cartoon series daria), head of streeteam for RNB,(he missed seeing reel big fish just for me, muahaha) then he called me cuz I needed directions to his house, my mom picked him up, we couldn't decide what to do so we just hungout in my room(to avoid the parental asking him questions for the most part) talking for hours..it was kinda eerie cuz I always listen to music, but I didn't listen to it throughout the whole time..then we sorta last track of time and it was almost midnight, so we took him home, cuz he had to get to bed cuz today he's doing a charity walk for MS victims at 10am(which has passed). But then I went online and we talked most of the night, he said he'd call today after his walk, and we both went to bed. This post is rather lengthy, sorry, but I had a lot to say. It should last you a couple days, for that's how long I suppose I'll wait to post again, I have some homework to do and I imagine I'll be full of homework throughout the week.

Oh, it's running on pooey US time, no wonder...it's 5 buggering hours behind my clock. Damn.

Worked earlier, 7 - 12, didn't get any sleep, until about 3, woke up continuously, woke up at 6:10am, showered, fucked off to work, didn't do much. T'was boring.
