Ditto too, although our school seems to be ok. We have a lot of international students so I guess we have to be accessible anyway.

What do the 'popular' people seem to be like? Are they like the stereotypes on TV or just normal people? I like the people at my school cos' they're all so friendly its not even funny ... anyway, enough about me.

School, was good. I ditched last period and stayed in the Media room to transfer photos to the computer ... it was fun and they did come out good. And I helped a few people ... anyways, later people.

Ugh, school internet security sucks major.. butt. I mean, whever we go to a site that is not allowed to be veiwed (for whatever lame ass reason) a big red screen pops up and says "you are not allowed to veiw this page, your actions are now being monitered.". Also, if you send an email (there's a notification thing also, you can check email without getting caught, but when you send an email a notice gets sent to the principle) you have to be in Triad (the in-school suspension program)

Nah, I am in anyway. But like, I dont hang around them and I dont skite about it either. I never really hung around them. In fact I havent said anything, so yeah. Last night I went Ice Skating, again and I had fun! Apparently I looked disturbed and sad, but maybe its cos; what happened this week ... hmmm ... also, when they did the couples game, I held Taras hand. I felt so happy!!! I loved it. I didnt want it to end though, but It had to. My friend Chelsea likes my mate Nigel though, but he doesnt like her ... oh well ... and we did a birthday prank call to Mark, and dedicated a song, "I'm a barbie girl" to him ... lol! It was funny. Also, I am sort of in with Tara, cos; she aint got a b/f anymore. But dont worry, I am gunna take it so slow it aint even funny. Yeah. Fun fun fun.

Haha, I hope that you don't think of me as an "advice person" who gives out advice to everybody. Personally, those people really tick me off, they really do.. So I really hope that you don't think of me as one..?
In my opinion (I read your blog) it sounds like there are a lot of "groups" in your school. And maybe some of your friends in the original group haven't been 'invited' into the popular group. They probably aren't jealous, though they might be, but I don't know them so I cannot really say. It sounds like in the past, when you weren't invited (or not invited yet..) you hadn't really minded about the whole group thing. Or maybe you did, but you might not have had an invitation into a 'higher' group. Once you join the popular group, all of your friends in the old group are going to think of you differently. They might not get upset, but as to your one friend Matine, they might. Because now, instead of hanging out with your old friends again, you will have friends in both groups, and they might clash together. This might get both sides angrey, and then you'll be stuck in the middle. If this really bothers Matine that you are now turning into a 'popular', I can see why. It's not a personal thing, but now you are going on about "yes, well I could be in the group if I wanted to, I've been invited." This is the attitude that might be annoying your friends.
Now, I might be totally and completely wrong and everything, I mean, because I have no idea about the personalities of these people, or yours, but this is just from my standpoint.

Um, fyi: my name is Laura, not Jennie.
We have nothing special in our school. I mean, the only slightly interesting thing that ever happens is when somebody, with arms full of books, falls down the stairs. Of course it's mean, but it is funny the same time.
Oh yeah, did I mention that in my school we aren't allowed to use backpacks? It's because of the whole Columbine thing. It's been like this for a while now, a couple years at least. Though we are allowed to use clear and mesh backpacks. Though only a few people carry them to class. I, on the other hand, use an "illegal" backpack to school, and then carry my books around anyway. Some people go all-out and carry an "illegal" one all day.
I just put a lot more effort into explaining that than I had planned, that's retarded. Whatever..

So, I got into a fight with my dad last week... he's an ass.. and doesn't back down. A few years ago he threatened my life, said I was a wuss, and mocked me for not fighting back. So, this time.. I fought back and nailed him in the back of the head with my left hand.. and I still had my clunky class ring on. I have a damn good punch from playing hockey. He was suprised.. and pissed.
My mom thinks we need therapy. It isn't my fault. She doesn't understand. He hates me. He wants me to die.. or at least get very hurt. I don't wanna go... it's pointless. He'll say stuff JUST to make me feel secure and then turn around and hurt me. Then, blame me and threaten to leave.. again. I don't know what to do.

Alrighty.
Well, I think that you may indeed be "a popular" or whatever you want to call it. In my school, there's a crowd that believes they are higher than everybody else; the populars. Most of them are a total bitch, and they are really mean. They even backstab each other.
Anyway, if you have a ticket into the crowd, I would go for it. I mean, then you would have a chance to befriend the poulars, and anybody who isn't in the popular group. Not specifically unpopular exactly, just not a popular. Like, for example, I have loads of friends, like, by the time I am to my next class, I have said hello to almost every single person I see in the hall - literally. Though I'm not in the "in crowd". Because if you accept this chance to be "in", and be a nice popular, then it's a new revolution and you might chnage the cruel hearts of others.
But that's just my opinion.. that what you wanted, wasn't it?

You guys are funny.. well, i have a stupid band thing tomorrow. and my director is really pissed off at me.
I didn't go to a pep rally yesterday. I went home and did homework. Why? Because teachers are cutting off senior's grades a week early, and I had a crap load of work to make up. I finished.. and then got my ass chewed out. Then got yelled at cuz my ensemble isn't PERFECT... and the other people in my tenor section suck. So I protested and stopped playing. Then a few.. well.. let's just say that the really good players got mad and started playing random notes for the rest of the period.
I assume that it is MY fault that happened also.. cause I got this very very evil 'go to hell' look after school from the director.
Then he got mad cause my ensemble stayed after to practice. F**ing hypocrite. If it wasn't an ensemble i was in tomorrow.. I'd either stay home without calling him.. or wear blue jeans and a t-shirt [dress/shirt & tie required].
What's he gonna do.. kick his 1st chair All-State player out of band? I think not. Even if he did, I have much better things to do... I just sleep in all my band classes anyways.

Story

My name is Winter. I'm not really supposed to tell you my name. Not that its a rule or anything, I really shouldn't. In case they find me. When I mean they, I mean a group of people who are out to find me. But I guess talking about myself is an impulse. Its not my fault. Blame my parents; thats if you can find them. I haven't seen them since I was four. I have a vague image of them taking away my tricycle. I think I had droven over my mums blue flowers. They were special to her. I didnt mean to. But blue flowers terrify me. So much; too much. I think at one point they nearly drove me to suicide. I guess too much drugs can do that. They fuck with your head in endless ways. Its like they have a life of their own. I think they like toturing us. Maybe thats their impulse. But I managed to get rid of mums blue flowers even without my bike. I stomped on them, I ripped them out in bad moods cause they just kept growing and growing. Then mum started getting yellow flowers. She gave up I guess. I think she figured I hated them when I hit blue flowers off the stalls at the markets and crushed them. And she had to pay for them too. But I never remember anything else of them. Nothing. Right now I am even doubting if they were ever my real parents. I never found any baby photos, so its possible.
But back to taking about myself. Actually I can't. I dont want to in fear of those people. They already know where I lived, who my friends are, what school I went to, where I went to hang out, and they know quite abit about me. I only start to realise what I have done to my friends; my life, me. I've ruined my life and I cant take it back. Maybe theres such a thing as God, but I doubt, cos' I aint getting much help over here. I need to move on. Find more opportunities that maybe out there. I need to run and I need to hide. I can do both of those you know. But I must live, I can't die. I have to keep running from those people while still being able to say:

I'm using a computer at school to. I'm so bored...we've been doing some career search website and of course I finished really early. Georgeanne and I've been working on a website that will incorporate a group of blogs, it'll be pretty cool. *grins* I'm using photoshop to make some really sweet graphics for it. Anyways...

We can go online, we have a computer room in the library (98 version) and we pay to use the internet. Email too, and in classes, we use it for free (they have passwords that change every 15 minutes

Atleast you are allowed to go online at lunch, in my school we, well me might be allowed, but you can only go on in the library or in a classroom. And the teachers seldom let you use their computers during lunch, because they might have a class then, and in the library you get in trouble if you are doing anything but 'educational' purposes.
My school is really messed up.
Speaking of which, I have shcool today, so I think I'd better get offline and eat breakfast.

Well, it sounds like everybody has been having eventfull times.. LOL.
I've been working and working on my website for the longest time, and I can't figure out how to get my blog posts show up on it. I did everything I was supposed to and it doesn't work..
So I put up a different blog at the old URL with some old entries and the link to my site.
My site is done except for the blog, and I have yet to se up my webcam.
Ugh, and I haven't done any of my homework, so I will have to do a bit during breakfast. Maybe on the bus too.

Skool was ok. Finding out if this chick likes me. Thinking about going Ice Skating ... getting a job, and doing shit. Need to get a camera; thats another $500 gone.

In Media on Monday, we did something fun; we had to think of an idea in a group of three or four or one or two, and present it to the class. It was real fun. We did, Dial-a-Genie and yeah. I also found myself wasnt shaking or going red or haywire in front of people, 32 people ... hehe ... yay!

Wow. What a blur the week had been.

I started skool on Friday. Fun fun fun. I met a chick called Robyn, and, I am telling you now, she is the hottest in the whole skool. And, well, I have first chance at her ... :P
So yeah. On Fri nite, I went to Matines and stayed there till then, then went home. On Saturday, I went Ice Skating. This chick caught my eye. She was like, I dont know. I felt really werid looking at her ... I like her. She said hi, and hello a couple of times when I was watching her as she came around the ring, and she waved at me too ... all nite, I couldnt take my eyes off her. She is so nice. And I can ICE SKATE!!! I can basically speed skate if I wanted to ... I am faster, now I need to learn how to break. I stayed at Matines on Sat nite, thats when we went Ice Skating. People were gunna come, lots but it ended up coming down to four of us, and 2 others, who I just met, who I know off the 'net. And well yeah. When we got home, we had pizza, and got to bed. It felt so good to get into my sleeping bag ... lol. And came home about 3 the next day. yay. I am thinking of getting a jobbie very soon toos

Haha, a hopeless romantic.
I went to see a movie yesterday with Nick. We saw 'Slackers' which was [retty funny, but some of it was just plain nasty..
We saw 2 people we knew from school, well, Nick knew Amanda, and I knew her because she rides my bus, and I know Jeremy, but I don't know if Nick did.
Actually, they were going to go see Orange County, but they came into our theater instead.
Yeah.
